• We convert your paper form into a Smartform. It’s still made out of paper, and uses the same data fields you already collect. The Smartform works with the Smartpen to collect data.
  • Using a Smartpen, you fill in your data as normal. The Smartpen captures the data from the Smartform digitally.
  • Connect the Smartpen to a laptop to retrieve all the digital data, which can then be sent via email  or directly to your corporate database.

The digital pens work and look like normal ballpoint pens, except that they’re equipped with a tiny infrared camera that records what’s being written. The pens are able to do this using a micro-dot pattern on printed forms.

We can help you to convert your existing forms to smartforms. Your field workforce can fill in the paper forms or workorders as they did before, however they will also be creating a digital record as the form is completed. Once complete, the data can be sent back to the office using a USB cable to a computer, or via Bluetooth to a smartphone.

In addition, the Smartforms can be integrated with the workorder dispatch system so that customer information and job-specific data can be pre-populated in the form and either printed at the beginning of the work day or even in the field.
